Lumenscaré may be used for two different purposes:

1. Provide on-demand electricity for charging small mobile devices every day, anywhere on Earth, indoors or outdoors. One (optional) component is necessary for this feature: a 12 Volt 7 Ampere Sealed Lead Acid Battery. For North American customers, we provide a complimentary Power Inverter. For customers in other countries, you'll also need a Power Inverter as close to 20 Watts as possible. Don't worry - anything up to 200 Watts will work just fine.

2. Charge and maintain one 12 Volt Gel, Lead or Sealed Lead Acid Battery found in (non-Hybrid or All-Electric) modes of transportation and personal mobility vehicles such as wheelchairs. No additional hardware or equipment is necessary for this feature. Your car being "dead" is a thing of the past.

Design Philosophy

Lumenscaré is an affordable, truly self-sustaining portable energy system capable of replacing traditional electricity to power small mobile electronics every day. It was designed with the concept of balancing energy and time while being easy for anyone to use; there is no installation or configuration. It doesn't matter where you live, work or play, it was designed with one thing in mind - you.

There's no need to ever use Lumenscaré outdoors either - we mean it. It can be used exclusively indoors while facing the Sun. If you have a windowsill which receives a lot of sunlight, you're already prepared. There's really not much else to do.

For powering electronics, it can work with a Power Inverter up to approximately 20 Watts from any country. It will charge nearly every mobile device ever made using absolutely no traditional electricity, day or night. And in the event you have a power outage, plug in lamp with an ordinary 13 or 15 Watt CFL; you're not going to be left in the dark.

Then there's its other ability: it serves as a battery charger for virtually any mode of transportation. Up to ten times more powerful than many comparable solar systems, it can revive a dead battery almost anywhere in the World.

Key Features

While it may be a 12 Volt Solar System, you'll notice it has qualities not available in others, including larger systems:

• Uses no traditional electricity at any time - truly solar-powered.

• It can be used during the day and night, including cloudy and rainy days.

• It requires a 12 Volt 7 Ampere battery, significantly smaller than comparable solar systems.

• It's portable; others use large Amorphous solar cells. We use Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline which are higher in efficiency (conversion of Sunlight to usable energy) and smaller in size.

• We include a Power Inverter for North American customers based on a proprietary formula - but you can use any you want which also provides 20 Watts of power. It will provide electricity between 100 and 240VAC (everywhere on Earth with the right power inverter).

• It's made of lightweight Aluminum and supported by Stainless Steel hardware.

• It's the only 12 Volt Solar System that can be exclusively used indoors while facing the Sun as an inherent part of its design.

• There are multiple safety mechanisms to ensure safety in case of an adverse situation.

• It can temporarily supply energy to more power-demanding electronics with a fast recovery time.

• It makes no sound at any time, including the power inverter.

• The solar system can be used elsewhere by disconnecting a single plug; the solar array can stay where it is while using the system in another location.

• 1-Year Warranty providing protection from Manufacturer Defects, Elemental and Accidental Damage.

Diverse Power Output

Choose between two different types of useful power output - household or 12 Volt.

If you want the same kind of electricity from a wall outlet, use a Power Inverter supported in your country. Alternatively, plug a small mobile device directly into the solar system for 12 Volt output - if it uses a car adapter, it's compatible with this Kit and will be soundless.

Zero Configuration, Zero Installation

From out of the box and into use with virtually nothing to do. No mounting, additional hardware or configuration is necessary - just aim the system's solar panel(s) towards the Sun, attach a battery and you're done.

When powering electronics, install the included 12 Volt Auxiliary Power Socket without any tools, plug your device directly into the solar system or use an Inverter. No configuration is necessary when taking it anywhere else; it is pre-configured to be Plug-and-Play friendly.

Choosing a Battery and Battery Box

You may charge any wet-type 12 Volt battery with Lumenscaré but you cannot use a battery larger than 12 Volt, 7 Amperes to power electronics on a daily basis.
